My name is Frankie, I am an illustrator, designer, and spaghetti lover from Southern California. I graduated from California College of the Arts in 2020 and have since earned my MFA from California State University, San Bernardino, where I now teach illustration and printmaking.
My work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators Student Scholarship Awards and the Booooooom Illustration Awards. My clients include Full Pour Magazine, The Ontaro Museum of History and Art, The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art, and Curious Publishing. My work tends to be socially engaged, and I create many illustrations for community organizations, fundraisers, and mutual aid efforts.
I grew up in Fontana, California, and when I am not frantically working in my sketchbook, I am working at my print studio, Bluebasket Press, curating, designing, and printing small DIY publications in collaboration with local artists. I have always had a fascination with print and love working in multiple formats, from zines to art books to prints that aren’t really prints, art, or books.
Email me if you’d like to work together!
